Join Captain Willie Johnson on the beautiful waters of the lower Laguna Madre, from the Land Cut to Port Isabel. Captain Willie is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and Texas Parks & Wildlife. We will fish for Red Fish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, & Black Drum. Captain Willie prefers to drift or wade fish with artificial baits, which he provides his customers (but live bait is fine too, at customers expense). Rods and reels can also be provided with advance notice. Captain Willie is all about service to his customers, so customers fishing preference comes first !

Captain Willie can fish up to Six people on his boat. Fishing the Lower Laguna Madre is a unique experience. If you have never fished the Lower Laguna Madre you are missing out! The Lower Laguna Madre is the shallowest, clearest and most productive fishing spot in North America. Capt. Willie fishes aboard a 2008 model 23' Explorer Attackaflat powered by a 150 hp. Yamaha. This boat allows access to the many shallows of the area while providing an excellent ride in all types of water. Captain Willie has been fishing the Laguna Madre for over 20 years.
